An open day regarding selections for a national mens's squad will be held in Kilcock on Saturday 2nd April at 10:30am. This day will consist of two water sessions 11:00 - 13:30 & 14:30 - 17:00.
Ireland has successfully applied for a Men's wildcard position at the upcoming world championships in Syracuse, Italy. Mark McCormack has kindly stepped in as interim player-coach, with the position of team manager yet to be filled.
At this stage in the polo season, it is important to establish a national team going forward into the summer as soon as possible, to have a prepared squad in time for the world championships. For this reason, there will only be one day of selections.
** Anyone wishing to contest for a position on the national squad must be willing to sign a contract prior to selections outlining the terms of team selection, travel, and the rules by which players must adhere to in order to maintain their position on squad.
