Well done to everyone who took part in ICUPS 2023, over the weekend 15/16 April at the Let’s Go Hydro Resort in Belfast/Carryduff.
It was a great weekend and fantastic to see so many students (and former students) taking part in the event.
Congratulations in particular to Technological University Dublin who came first in the Gold, Women’s and Freshers categories and University College Dublin, who came first in the Silver category.

The Galway Kayak Club are hosting the Galway Open 2023, over the weekend 27/28 May 2023.

The dates and hosts of the 2023 Club Championships and Irish Open are now confirmed:
Club Champs – 8/9 July, hosted by Mullingar Harbour Canoe Polo Club
Irish Open – 16/17 September, hosted by Kilcock Canoe Polo Club
Details of the competitions will be posted at a later date. A big thanks to Mullingar and Kilcock for agreeing to host.

Anyone wishing to vote must be a current Canoeing Ireland member and over 18. Registration closes 11:00pm on the 2nd April 2023 register here.

The following Junior Polo competitions are taking place in Kilcock, Mullingar and Belfast in 2023:
The National Canoe Polo Commitee has agreed the dates for the Irish Club Championships and Irish Open for 2023, as follows:
The Committee is now seeking proposals from Clubs who are interested in hosting each event.
If your Club is interested an hosting the event, please email comps@canoepolo.ie with your proposal by 10pm on Wed 8 February 2023.
Details of the Clubs selected to host the events will be published by the end of February 2023.
Registration is open for the 2022 Irish Club Championships, which takes place at Mullingar Harbour on Sat 9th July 2022 and Sun 10th July 2022.
The following Divisions (3) and Categories (2) will be available:
The entry fee for Div 1, Div 2 and Div 3, is 125 Euro per team.
The entry fee for Div 3 – all players under 18, is 50 Euro per team.
The Under 14 and Ladies categories are free.
Registration is now open. Registration closes at 9pm on Tue 28 June 2022.
